Mu’awiya ibn Al-Hakam (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I was praying with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) while a man among the people sneezed, so I said, “May Allah have mercy on you!” The people began to glare at me in disapproval, so I said, “Woe to me! Why are you staring at me?” They struck their hands on their thighs telling me to be quiet, so I said nothing even though I was upset, and the Prophet finished the prayer. Let my father and mother be ransomed for him, for I have not seen before or after him another teacher better at instruction. By Allah, the Prophet did not scold, strike, or revile me. The Prophet said, “Verily, it is not fitting for this prayer to have anything of human speech, but rather only the glorification and exaltation of Allah and the recitation of the Qur'an.”

Here are some tips taken from a blog post (by: John Bentley) about teaching English abroad for those of you who are interested (this is a bit different than teaching any subject but it is a good place to potentially start). 1. Know that virtually anybody can teach English abroad. 2. Research considerably about where you are going before going. 3. Make sure to earn a TEFL or CELTA certification to back your position. 4. Consider whether to go with an organized program or independently. 5. Hiring and interview procedures vary from country to country. 6. Plan to at least break even financially when you go. 7. Consider volunteering to build your resume and gain experience in certain regions of the world. 9. Set a timeline for yourself to keep your self on track. 10. Be prepared for startup expenses. 11. Get support from your family. 12. Be open-minded and flexible.
